For this project, I was given two weeks to individually complete technical drawings of all of the components, except the retaining ring, using AutoCAD 3D. The retaining ring model and technical drawing was obtained from McMaster-Carr. I was able to finish the project within one week. I was required to not only complete the technical drawings for each part, but also create assembly drawings (including exploded and section views), apply materials to the part models, create a bill of materials, and fill in title block data.

Through this project, and many other drawing assignments, I became proficient in creating technical drawings in accustom to ASME Y14.5, properly managing layers and sheets, dimensioning to create complete, clear, and concise drawings, creating border and title block templates, visualizing the orthographic views of 3D parts, and assessing drawings for errors and mistakes.
